WALK THROUGH FLAMES WITH ME

Not because suffering makes love sacred.

Not because pain is proof of loyalty.

And never because you are obligated to remain inside a fire I refuse to extinguish.

Walk with me because transformation is rarely comfortable.

**“For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.” — Hebrews 12:6 (KJV)**

There will be seasons when everything false begins to burn—old identities, inherited beliefs, familiar illusions, unfinished wounds, and the versions of ourselves we created merely to survive.

**“Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire.” — 1 Corinthians 3:13 (KJV)**

I am not asking you to rescue me from that fire.

I am asking for the kind of connection that does not disappear the moment the path becomes difficult.

**“Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.” — Galatians 6:2 (KJV)**

Tell me the truth when illusion would be easier.

Stand beside me when the masks begin to melt.

Remind me who I am when the smoke makes it difficult to see.

**“Faithful are the wounds of a friend.” — Proverbs 27:6 (KJV)**

And I will do the same for you.

I will not demand that you remain unchanged so I can remain comfortable. I will not call your evolution abandonment simply because your becoming forces me to confront where I have stopped growing.

**“Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.” — Proverbs 27:17 (KJV)**

But understand this:

Walking through flames together does not mean tolerating destruction.

Some fires initiate us.

Some fires purify us.

Some fires reveal what was never strong enough to survive the truth.

**“That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory.” — 1 Peter 1:7 (KJV)**

And some fires must simply be left behind.

Scripture does not command us to remain where destruction is consuming us. There is a time to depart, a time to separate, and a time to walk away from what brings destruction.

**“Cease from anger, and forsake wrath.” — Psalm 37:8 (KJV)**

So walk through flames with me—but let us possess enough wisdom to recognize the difference.

Let us not worship the burning.

Let us seek the wisdom to know what God is refining, what He is removing, and what He is calling us to leave behind.

**“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God.” — James 1:5 (KJV)**

Let us become what the fire could not consume.

For God is able to bring us through the fire without allowing the fire to have the final word:

**“When thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.” — Isaiah 43:2 (KJV)**

Walk through flames with me.

Not to glorify the fire—

but to emerge transformed by the God who walks with us through it.
