Failure

Some failures give you more than success ever could.

A mistake can strip away the illusion that you know everything. It can expose your weaknesses, challenge your ego, and force you to look at yourself without excuses. That experience may hurt, but it often becomes the beginning of real wisdom.

**“For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again.” — Proverbs 24:16 (KJV)**

Achievement is valuable, but success becomes dangerous when it convinces you that you are above others. The moment accomplishment turns into arrogance, growth begins to stop.

Scripture warns us:

**“Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.” — Proverbs 16:18 (KJV)**

Humility keeps the mind open. It reminds you that there is always something more to learn, someone worth listening to, and another way to improve.

**“Before honour is humility.” — Proverbs 15:33 (KJV)**

Do not be ashamed of mistakes that made you wiser, kinder, and more self-aware. Sometimes losing teaches lessons that winning never could.

**“My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.” — James 1:2–3 (KJV)**

The greatest victory is not proving that you are better than everyone else.

It is becoming better than the person you were before.

And ultimately, true growth is not simply becoming a better version of ourselves—it is allowing God to shape us into who He has called us to be:

**“Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.” — Philippians 1:6 (KJV)**

Failure does not have to be the end.

Sometimes, God can use the very thing that humbled you to teach you, strengthen you, and make you wiser than you were before.
