AT THE END OF LIFE
AT THE END OF LIFE
At the end of life, titles disappear, money changes hands, possessions belong to someone else, and even achievements slowly become memories. What remains is the kind of person you chose to become.
**“For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.” — 1 Timothy 6:7 (KJV)**
Character is built in ordinary moments—how you treat people who can do nothing for you, whether you keep your word when breaking it would be easier, how you behave when nobody is watching, and whether you remain honest when dishonesty could benefit you.
**“He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.” — Psalm 15:2 (KJV)**
Success can impress people, but character earns something deeper: trust, respect, and a meaningful legacy.
**“A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold.” — Proverbs 22:1 (KJV)**
You may spend years building wealth, status, or recognition, but none of them can replace integrity. The real measure of a life is not simply what you accumulated, but what your presence brought into the lives of others.
**“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” — Mark 8:36 (KJV)**
Build something within yourself that circumstances cannot take away.
Build character.
Build integrity.
Build wisdom.
Build a life that reflects what matters when nobody is watching.
**“Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal.” — Matthew 6:19 (KJV)**
When everything temporary is eventually left behind, who you became will have mattered most.
And what you do for others can outlive what you owned.
**“A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children.” — Proverbs 13:22 (KJV)**
Your possessions may be given away.
Your position may be forgotten.
Your achievements may become memories.
But the character you built, the truth you lived, the love you gave, and the lives you touched can leave a legacy far greater than anything money could purchase.
**“The memory of the just is blessed.” — Proverbs 10:7 (KJV)**
So build something within yourself that circumstances cannot take away.
When everything temporary is eventually left behind, make sure what remains is a life of integrity, faith, compassion, and truth.
Because in the end, the greatest measure of a life is not what you possessed—
but who you became.
**“Well done, thou good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:21 (KJV)**
